Lionel | O Scale | Drop center flat car with real marble load | COLO YULE MARBLE CO.
Car Numbers: #3, #6
For generations O scale Lionel trains have been the benchmark for collectibility in model train circles. Our museum has obtained the entire inventory of the small remainder of Rocky Mountain Division Train Collectors Association's famous special run of "Marble Cars": deep welled, double trucked flat cars that feature payload slabs of real marble from the world famous Yule Mine in Colorado. This is the same mine that produced the marble for such iconic structures as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. These tremendously rare cars can be obtained in only one of two ways: used, from one of the few collectors who are fortunate enough to own one or two, or brand new in their original packaging from right here at the Colorado Model Railroad Museum. The cars come in two numbers: #3 and #6. Every serious Lionel collector will want a pair of these for his/her collection. Truly, this is an outstanding investment opportunity. First come, first serve. All proceeds go directly to the CMRM, a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit organization.
